The location is so close to everything in this vibrant little town, but when you close the soundproof doors it is very peaceful. The apartment location is splendid just 2 minutes from city center, 20 m from the beach and sea, and there is an absolutely unique and beautiful view of the city, the mountains and the sea from the living room and the balcony. Some car noise from the road below, but then Amalfi is not a deserted island, but a lively city on the very beautiful and classy Amalfi Coast. It was recently renovated, beautifully decorated and offered a spectacular view from the balcony. Very convenient central location with the beach right across the street. It was central and immaculately clean with everything you could need (including a sewing kit in the bathroom!). The owner has blended character with modern conveniences. I loved the white washed, 3 metre domed ceiling in the lounge and main bedrooms. The view was breath taking and we spent hours sitting on the balcony watching the everyday life of Amalfi especially the beach and boats. Double glazing meant it was quiet and cool but there was also air conditioning if needed. Mary Masih, Toronto, Canada September 22, 2007 - We absolutely loved it!! The villa made our honeymoon. It was newly renovated, clean, had A/C and was extremely close to the main square in Amalfi. The view from the villa was spectacular, overlooking the beach/sea right below the terrace. Because the villa was so close to Amalfi, you could feel the vibrancy of the town throughout the day, including the evening. It's also not so close as to be disturbing. Access to the apartment is only a moderate climb, very doable. The apartment owners were absolutely wonderful people that were a pleasure to deal with. They organized the parking for us with a local garage owner and bent over backwards to accommodate our needs for arrival and departure. They also provided much assistance in where to go and what to see. GREAT PEOPLE. Excellent experience with Summer in Italy. Communication was timely, professional and courteous.
