The location was perfect for day trips and there is a beautiful view of the marina and the coast. You'll find yourselves not wanting to leave the immediate area with great food downstairs at Restaurant Ruccio and beautiful views in every direction. We had a great experience with Summer in Italy. The views out of the windows are amazing with brilliant sunsets. The location was great as you feel you are in the heart of the action and access to ferries are at the front door with restaurants and a few shops. If you find stairs hard this apartment may not be for you as it is on the fifth floor but otherwise perfect. You can catch a bus to town 1 euro and to the train station where buses 2 euro and easy to use public transport. Summer In Italy is a good and professional company which was very easy to deal with. It is located in the port, so there are about 300 steps to get up to the town [bus service is available], but a great location for those taking the ferry or going to the beach.
