September 5, 2009 - The villa was absolutely beautiful, much more than we could aspect from looking at the photos. It's really big and spacious but, of course, what we enjoyed the most was the garden with the swimming pool and great views.

The silence and peace that we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings were unbelievable, no cars, no motorcycles, no noise at all... just yells of roosters and pheasants... one night we even saw wild pigs passing right along our garden. Amazing.

This is really a good place to be: you have the opportunity to stay in an very quiet environment and on the other hand there are a lot of cities nearby.

July 4, 2009 - The villa was authentic and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked.

I thought the owners were the most thoughtful and kind people I have ever met. They wrote down directions to anywhere we asked, and always did it with a smile. The wine and olive oil they left us were wonderful, the views from the backyard are unrivaled. It was a peaceful and wonderful place to vacation, and very centrally located.

This was my third time in Italy, and I would definitely return to Villa Gentile.
