What guests of Casa Chicca sayJennifer Gray, London, United Kingdom July 6, 2009 - Casa Chicca was heavenly! Exactly as described and shown in the pictures, but to actually be there was even more wonderful than we had hoped. We arrived late at night and got such a pleasant surprise to wake up to the most breathtaking view. The Family are really lovely, they were very kind and helpful, it added to our holiday to be in the midst of everyday local life. Casa Chicca was very private and had everything we needed, the fittings, bed etc are very good quality. The property is small, simple and gleaming, perfect! We loved the bells that ring every 15 mins from the Church of St Luca which is directly above. Praiano is very peaceful and unspoiled. We would definitely like to go back. You gave us a perfect service and it was a pleasure to deal with you, we will certainly book through you again. Thank you. Louise Pelletier, Montreal, Canada May 9, 2009 - Casa Chicca is an enjoyable small house for 1 or 2 persons. Next to owners' house who are welcoming but discrete. The view is the most spectacular from the large and isolated terrace. The house is equipped enough to prepare food almost like at home, and its washing machine is very appreciated. The bathroom is large and convenient, but the bedroom has not much space left since the bed is very large. Overall, I can say: small but convenient house. Furnitures are modern, practical and big enough for two people. Very efficient service from Summer in Italy. No surprise vacation, everything was exactly like described in advertisement on web site. Thank you so much again. Desiree Gavhed, Stockholm, Sweden April 15, 2009 - I enjoyed every minute of the stay! (Maybe not the church chimes in the night/early morning, but it had its charm as well). The owner and her family were very friendly. The view was superb and the citrus tree in the terrace was so nice. I appreciated that the house was located in a pedestrian part of the village. The living room was small, but ok for two persons. I think your information was outstanding, and all contacts were smooth and rapid, thank you! Kathryn Baker, Corbargo, Australia November 8, 2008 - We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Chicca - the owner was very helpful and the house was really well equipped. If you are a very light sleeper bring earplugs - the bells of Saint Luca seem to be rung at very strange times - typically at around 20 past the hour from 7 am and winding up around 11 pm - there is also the possibility that novice bell ringers may be charged with this responsibility as at times it sounded quite chaotic. The view was amazing and the house was well positioned for exploring the hills or working up an appetite by walking down to the beach. Cordelia Schneider, Hamburg, Germany October 25, 2008 - I liked staying there - absolutely. Of course, it,s a matter of personal taste. I especially liked the nearby church, its piazza and atmosphere. I also enjoyed having a look into the neighbouring garden and the sea view is wonderful. The apartment is ideal for one person or a couple. It is also very handy for people who enjoy walking as you can start off for walks right at the church.
