What guests of Casa Chicca say![]() Gayle Bowler, Coromandel Town, New Zealand May 17, 2013 - Casa Chicca was perfect, we loved it so much, we extended our stay. Great location if you want to be local and away from the busy streets. Close to great walks and everything you need close by. Graham Beresford, Hebden Bridge, United Kingdom May 7, 2013 - Top class accommodation, can't fault it. We feel it's our home from home. So relaxing. Spotlessly clean, everything you need in self catering holiday . Would highly recommend. Perfect for couples. Very private. Spectacular views. Love the bells from Saint Luca, miss the chimes when home, can't wait for myself and my wife to return. Excellent company for organising our top class accommodation in Praiano, Summer in Italy made our holiday stress free. Thanks again. Kim Ferry, Auckland, New Zealand April 20, 2013 - You will love Casa Chicca if you want a relaxing holiday, a great view to wake up to, access to some wonderful steps, paths and walkways - although certainly strenuous in some areas - a place that feels less 'touristy' than some other parts of the coast, and to be able to 'eat in' with dinner on the deck, but still be within walking distance of a number of good restaurants. The description of Casa Chicca on the Summer in Italy website is accurate and the house is very clean. It is compact but does not feel cramped. The owner, who lives next door is friendly and helpful. Note that the house does not have WiFi and the internet cafe in the village was not particularly reliable when we were there - it may however have been a temporary glitch. Summer in Italy is to be commended for its professional management of the booking, and also for its friendly and helpful emails. Jean Gundry, Toowoomba, Australia April 6, 2013 - Casa Chicca was quite adequate. However, living areas were rather small. The 65 steps down and up were a bit of a challenge, as well as the long walk up and down to the bus stop. Also be aware that the church bells from Saint Luca are immediately above the apartment (a bit of a surprise at midnight!) We cannot fault Summer in Italy customer service. Thank you for your attention to detail. David Atkinson, Toronto, Canada March 24, 2013 - Casa Chicca was absolutely wonderful! It had everything we needed to enjoy a very relaxing and peaceful stay on the Amalfi Coast. It is a small place, but simply perfect for a couple. The terrace was a real highlight, with a perfect view of the sunrise over the Gulf of Salerno. Because it was still March, the local bus was not running. However, the is a 10-20 minute walk down to the main road (and the SITA bus stop) is not bad, and provides beautiful views along the coast in both directions. Overall, the ambiance and relatively private location made for an ideal romantic getaway. Casa Chicca was our little slice of paradise and we will definitely return! Thank you Signora Paola!!
