April 21, 2010 - We very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Chicca. It is quite small, but adequate for two people.

Unfortunately we did have some rain and could not always sit outside. Then the living room is a little small. The owner was very friendly but unobtrusive. We were able to park for free on a nearby street.

The view was beautiful but unfortunately, you don't get sun in the evenings and see the sunset from the terrace as it faces East. Instead it was nice and sunny in the mornings at breakfast.

The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was a good size. The kitchen is well-equipped. The bathroom is large enough and plenty of hot water. The washing machine was a great asset as we had been travelling a long time.

We were there in April and the weather was not always good, and it was cold at nights. A small heater would have been an advantage.

October 24, 2009 - We loved Casa Chicca. It was small but adequate for 2 people. It is very nicely finished and extremely clean & well kept.

The terrace was excellent & it was a great location.

Praiano was a quiet town away from the tourists but with enough restaurants & services for a pleasant stay.

You have a great service. We knew everything would be as described with no trepidation and that was exactly the case. Would recommend you to others any time.

September 12, 2009 - We loved Casa Chicca. Situated just below the church square with a wide view of the sea and coastline eastwards.

Casa Chicca is compact with a huge terrace with its own lemon tree. We spent many relaxed hours enjoying the peace and view and sunshine.

Paola [the owner] was friendly, helpful and not at all intrusive but lives right next door so available if you do need help.

August 8, 2009 - We booked Casa Chicca as our honeymoon accommodation and were really, really pleased! Signora Paola is really lovely, but very hands off unless you need her. The apartment is located a few steps down the hill from her house and next to another apartment, but it felt very secluded and private. The terrace was quite big with a beautiful lemon tree outside the French windows from the bedroom, plus a little table and chairs, 2 loungers and a rack to hang your washing (the house had a washing machine which is very handy...) and sun or shade to sit in.

The living room is only little, but I don't think anyone would want to sit inside anyway with such a beautiful view! We happily sat for hours just looking at the sea and had to drag ourselves away to go to the beach or explore the town.

Praiano itself was lovely. Much less touristic than the other towns along the coast, and Casa Chicca seemed to be in a very residential area. To get there you go down a flight of steps from the piazza where all the local families congregate in the evenings. The only reason I could not rate Casa Chicca as excellent for peace and quiet was because the bells from the church above chime all night. However, I am a very light sleeper and it really didn't bother me. After a day or 2 I had to listen out for the chimes as I'd stopped noticing them. In fact I found it quite comforting and loved not needing a watch!

I cannot recommend Casa Chicca enough and we will definitely be returning and sending friends!

The view was wonderful and the apartment was clean and well kept.
