What guests of Appartamento Gabriele sayAdrian Padurean, Brookfield, WI, United States March 29, 2008 - The apartment is very conveniently located, close to the Vatican, restaurants, grocery store, and bus station from where the rest of “centro storico” and greater Rome is very reachable in minutes. Living so close to the Vatican and across the street from a wall built in the third century by the emperor Aurelio brought a special feeling of being immersed in history throughout our visit! The apartment is spacious (by European standards) and has everything one needs (kitchen, two bedrooms, living room, small terrace). The owner is also a very pleasant person. Overall, a very satisfying experience. We had a very good experience with Summer in Italy. We liked your professionalism both in organizing the trip and in communication. Thank you. Kristine Takekawa, Kailua, HI, United States January 5, 2008 - We loved Appartamento Gabriele. The location for us was wonderful, within a five minute walk to St. Peters. Wonderful restaurants, pastry and sandwich shops, and a Bancomat were even closer. We walked all over Rome from the apartment (the Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Trastevere) and took taxi's when we needed to. It is also very close to convenient bus lines. The owner was extremely helpful and provides information for the area in the apartment. The accommodations were roomy and the bathroom is really quite big. The kitchen was very functional. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to visit Rome. Keep up the good work! You guys are fabulous! Hilary Anderson, Ipswich, United Kingdom June 2, 2007 - Very pleasant, well cared for, apartment. Centrally located and within walking distance of public transport etc. Very kind and attentive owner. Josephine Matera, Mississauga, Canada January 13, 2007 - We loved Appartamento Gabriele. My one and only complaint - and it isn't even really a complaint - is that the kitchen is a little on the cramped side, but then I love to cook and I'm sure most people would find it perfectly acceptable. The apartment is on a very quiet street (so hard to come by in Rome) and the buildings on the street are beautiful. There is a very nice terrace off the living room and had it been just a bit warmer we would have loved to sit out there (but in first week of January it's a bit cool in the morning and evenings). The apartment is a five minute walk to St. Peter's and so is very well located, with good restaurants nearby and a grocery store about 10 minutes up the street. We were able to walk to almost everywhere from here. The owner was very gracious and let us store our luggage in his apartment next door because we had arrived very early in the morning and had to return our car to the airport. The building itself is very well maintained and in a lovely setting. I would stay here again at the drop of a hat. You guys are great. This is our third rental with you (Sorrento and Tuscany previous to this) and I was thrilled to find that you had added an apartment in Rome to your portfolio of properties. You obviously choose your properties (and proprietors) with care and you are always accessible and a pleasure to deal with. There are 14 reviews of Appartamento Gabriele, on 3 pages.
