Ravello and Atrani are marvelous! The apartment is clean but need to be refreshed. The outdoor and the terrace are fabulous. We enjoyed our stay and recommend Casa Delia. Hazel Bedson, London, United Kingdom September 18, 2010 - Casa Delia is part of a group of 10 apartments, built in traditional Italian style, which cling to the hillside. The apartment is extremely spacious, especially for 2 people (as we were). Some of the fixtures and fittings (e.g. bathroom) are slightly old and worn, and a few of the window shutters did not open fully, but aside from that, everything else was in good functioning order and the place is very clean. The terrace is very large with fantastic views over Atrani and the sea. Because of its orientation the terrace gets the sun from around 11-4 pm. There is a barbecue which was great when we wanted to cook for ourselves. The gardens/landscaping is beautiful with fruit trees and flowers; the pool area is clean (if the pool is rather cold!) and quite often we found we were the only ones at the pool. The villa is located about 5-10 minutes walk from the village of Atrani. Sadly Atrani had just been hit by a terrible mudslide just before we arrived so all of the bars/restaurants were closed and the town generally out of action. However Amalfi is only 15 mins walk away with lots of places to eat/drink. In Amalfi, I recommend a restaurant called Restaurant Donna Stella, just of the main street for good pizzas at a reasonable price (it has a lovely outdoor terrace too).
