June 14, 2008 - This is the third year our family has visited Santa Maria and rented Villa Barbara A. We truly love the village, the people, and the setting.

We especially appreciate Summer in Italy for all the detail that is shown in making certain the reservations are correct.

We would also like to say how wonderful Ms. Annarita [the caretaker] is and how much we appreciate her kindness, her attention to detail and her willingness to answer any and all questions we have regarding our holiday.

If I could have one wish it would be to visit every year to Santa Maria. Grazie!

May 10, 2008 - The Villa Barbara apartments are very well located right on a beautiful sandy beach with great sunsets and views across to the distant Amalfi Coast.

The apartments are a very short walk from Santa Maria di Castellabate - an unspoilt local town with a lovely traditional feel to it that has not been over-developed by tourism. It has a good selection of shops and services although some of the restaurants were not fully geared up for the summer season when we visited at the beginning of May.

The best part of our holiday however was spent on the beach and in the beautifully clear water right in front of the apartment.

Villa Barbara A has a fantastic terrace that caught the sun all day long.

The other rooms were fine although the kitchen was quite small and located in the main living room.

Anna Rita, the caretaker, was very helpful to us and was happy to translate for us when we had an issue with the hire car company.

All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Summer in Italy were a pleasure to deal with and responded very promptly to any questions we had. This was our second time to use the company and we found them to be very efficient and helpful. We have recommended Summer In Italy to many of our friends and we will use them again in the future.
