What guests of Casa Bonaventura say![]() Kenneth Nestico, Simpsonville, SC, United States May 14, 2011 - It was a wonderful trip. The accommodations and the those in the office were wonderful. It couldn't have been better. We found you via the web and I'm so glad we did. The newsletters are also a nice touch. ![]() Barry Devereux, Dry Drayton, United Kingdom August 28, 2010 - We enjoyed it very much, loved being able to pick tomatoes for lunch on the way to the cottage after a morning at the pool. Simone [the owner] was very helpful. Pool was perfect. Extremely well maintained property and very clean. Summer In Italy gives a very accurate description of the property. ![]() Claire Hewitt, Old Windsor, United Kingdom August 21, 2010 - Casa Bonaventura was lovely - the owners were very helpful. The location was fantastic and the apartment was very nicely laid out and was clean and spacious. The pool area was fantastic for kids and they also loved picking the tomatoes and salad in the kitchen garden! Summer In Italy were also a fantastic find, very helpful and quick to respond. I felt very comfortable about all the arrangements and it all went like clockwork - so thank you! ![]() Laurence Pichon, Outremont, Canada May 15, 2010 - Casa Bonaventura was a beautiful house, well maintained and well equiped. We very much appreciated the gift upon arrival (bottle of wine of the estate). It's too bad the weather did not cooperate and we couldn't enjoy the outdoors, so at some point we felt confined in the house (old houses tend to feel humid and dark in those circumstances). The one thing I did not like so much was the fact that because we were actually on a 2nd floor, our "patio" space was not directly accessible from the house. We had to get out, go down a flight of stairs and walk across the little path to access our terrace. It was OK because it rained most of the time anyway, but I'm not sure how enjoyable it would have been if we had decided to eat there. It would have been a lot of carrying stuff back and forth and not a lot of privacy. The water heater turned out to be a challenge towards the end of the week and we had a few cold showers, but that's part of the charm of an old house! What made us book with you is the amount of details you give about the properties and the clarity of your explanations. I also did appreciate the "warnings" you give about being in a personal house and things we may not appreciate because indeed, a house is not a hotel! Most agents bring out the best and cover the rest and you don't; it's very important because booking on the Internet is a matter of trust, so it's best to be as open and detailed as possible. As a result, our experience was very much what we had envisioned (except for the weather, but that was not part of your assignment!) and we won't hesitate to book with you again. Terence Butler, Colchester, United Kingdom April 17, 2010 - Casa Bonaventura is situated in a wonderful location with spectacular views across the valley. The accommodation is comfortable and more than adequate for a family of six. The owners, Simone, Davide and Roberto were extremely helpful especially with the travel disruptions caused by the Icelandic volcano eruption. There is an abundance of restaurants in the area serving excellent foods. All the information Summer In Italy supplied was invaluable, especially the phrases which came in very useful. Thank you very much for a very special holiday, one of which we will return to again and also recommend to our friends. There are 17 reviews of Casa Bonaventura, on 4 pages. You are reading page 1.
