What guests of Casa Genziana B sayBill Curtis, Makawao, HI, United States July 30, 2005 - This was a wonderful place to explore eastern Tuscany/West Umbria from. We hit an unusual heat wave (38-40C) while we there, so the large pool was very much appreciated. The property grounds are beautiful, and although it is close to the highway, it is a very quiet location. It was a very handy base to daytrip from. Other guests at the property seemed happy just to stay on the property as well. We were there in prime season, and the building is very nicely done. As there were many people there (some units had more than one car and/or visitors from other places stopping by), when you came home late you sometimes could not park in the primary parking area (space for 5 cars). With that being said, I would come back to this property again. It is beautiful and a nice place to rest and/or use as a base for exploring the region. Timothy Miller, Ardsley, NY, United States July 9, 2005 - We had a wonderful time at Casa Genziana B. It is centrally located in Tuscany, so that there are easy drives to the major towns. The charm of this completely restored farmhouse is that you have the wonderful rural athmosphere of a Tuscan vacation house, yet all of the modern amenities if you desire them like satelite TV and internet access if you want them. The owners are very helpful, reachable (they speak english very well), yet not intrusive. This is a great vacation house - we will be certain to recommend it to our friends! We cooked meals and spent the mornings with coffee overlooking the country side. The location of this villa allowed us short drives to many of the places to see on our list. Our hostess, Michela was instrumental in helping us find our way around the Tuscany area. She is delightful. Donna Perman, Edmonton, Canada October 23, 2004 - Casa Genziana B was wonderful! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Our apartment was very well equipped, very clean, spacious and nicely laid out for our needs. The owner, Michela, was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. She was always available for us and responded promptly if we needed anything (which wasn't very much!). The villa buildings, gardens and grounds were beautiful and well maintained. The gardener (Fredo) was on sight daily maintaining the beauty of the gardens, but was never in our way. I hope we weren't in his way... I have already, and would highly recommend this villa to anyone visiting Tuscany. The location is ideal for resting in the peaceful countryside, or a base for day or weekend trips elsewhere. Our experience with Summer in Italy was generally excellent. We felt very safe booking with you mainly because of your informative web site that is professionally layed out, the testimonials, and for the way that you responded to our questions/needs.
