Everything about our stay was fantastic. Ms Michela [the owner] could not have been nicer and even loaned me her flat iron for the week when mine was fried on our first day in Italy. The grounds were beautiful. The pool was not yet open, (it was only April), but the ping pong table was enjoyed by my whole family. The hot tub had just arrived and unfortunately wasn't able to be opened until the day we left, but it looked fabulous! The outside terrace areas and common space were beautiful and we even cooked out on the grill for a few meals. It was a longer commute to some of the more popular towns, but was conveniently located to the highway and local roads. Our stay was very memorable. The kitchen was a bit small, especially the refrigerator! We could barely fit in a day's worth of groceries - bare in mind that 5 people consume quite a lot! But overall a wonderful experience; we'd like to come back some day and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. Everything was wonderful, thank you Summer In Italy. The many pages you provided with description of Italian life style and cultural differences are a good idea, we think, because you're right - some people forget that not everything is as it is back home. Ewan Roberts, Curtin, Australia August 19, 2006 - Casa Genziana B is a beautiful villa in a great location in the middle of Tuscany. It is located on a quiet road in a very attractive oak forest with easy access by car to many of the wonderful hill top villages and bigger cities including Siena and Florence. The villa is designed well to minimise awareness of other guests and facilities such as car parking, swimming pool gardens and BBQ are exceptional. Highly recommended for a holiday as relaxing or as busy as you like. The owners are very helpful and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable.
