June 26, 2010 - My husband, daughter, son-in-law and I stayed at Villa Eugenia for a week and we had an absolutely wonderful time.

To begin with, Pietro was a terrific host who went out of his way on several occasions to make our stay happy and comfortable. We would have loved to spend more time with him because he's such a warm, endearing fellow!

The view was breath-taking -- as was the climb up the stairs every day! But we must be in good shape for old geezers because we typically made the climb a couple of times a day and walked into town and back without getting tired. We loved being able to walk down to the sea to swim, too!

The villa is nice and quiet -- and even came with a pussycat who dropped by to say hi on occasion. The bedrooms were perfect and each of us loved being able to see out the windows toward the village and the sea as went went to sleep and then again as we woke up. There were some fantastic thunderstorms one evening and the view of lightning was spectacular. We loved sitting out on the terrace that Pietro recently improved with an awning.

We couldn't have been happier than we were at Villa Eugenia. I've rented through Luca and Summer In Italy a couple of times now and I heartily recommend the company to any vacationer.
