The views were spectacular and the place very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We even loved climbing all those steps. It was just in the most perfect location, an easy walk to Praiano, with access to shops and restaurants and close enough to Positano but yet still feeling away from all the crowds. The villa met our every need in terms of its facilities. The washing machine was a bonus and it was great not to get hit with extra charges at the end. While the caretaker did not speak much English and us little Italian, she was extremely friendly and helpful. Why did we book with you? Because after much searching, your website was the best by a long way in terms of the quality and quantity of information provided about the villas, the ease of use of the site and the variety and price of the villas you were advertising. Going into town in Praiano was always wonderful. The people are like family. Great atmosphere at "Bar del Sol", great dinner at "Gennaros", which is directly across the street.
Guy Heitmann, Blockley, United Kingdom March 13, 2004 - Villa Mariapia is ideally situated for your holiday on the Amalfi Coast. Unlike many other holiday lets, this villa has an unobstructive view. Waking up in your bed and being able to see the sun shining on the blue Mediterranean through you door is a pleasure. The terrace is of a good size with great and dizzying views. The accommodations themselves are adequate and very clean. The steps after a week get to be a bit of a bore going up, but it gives you exercise and an excuse to have another plate of pasta.
