What guests of Casa Assunta say![]() Andrea Verde, Santa Ana, CA, United States August 12, 2006 - Yes, we enjoyed our stay at Casa Assunta! It is very charming and peaceful. The steps to the home took a little getting use to but after our week stay we got used to it. The view of the ocean is remarkable. Now that we are back home we all miss the gorgeous ocean view. We brought our 3 kids with us and they enjoyed playing soccer up behind the church which was a surprise -- a soccer field on the cliffs -- it was great. The locals were more than nice and we appreciated that. It was a very memorable stay and we thank you for that! ![]() Mark Palmer, Bristol, United Kingdom July 29, 2006 - We had a very good time at Casa Assunta. It was spacious, clean and in good condition. The view over the sea was spectacular and the balcony was bigger than we expected and we could all sit out with no problem. The local shops were easily within a pleasant walk and there was a good range of local food to make meals from. At the beach there are nice restaurants to eat from on a very pleasant seafront which generally wasn't at all crowded. Very well placed for visiting Positano (about 20 min by bus) and other places easily possible for day trips by bus. We didn't mind the trip down to the beach, but I don't think I'd like to do it more than once a day. That said there is a local quite frequent bus which goes from just above the beach to just under the apartment. ![]() Linda Peacock, Stockton On Tees, United Kingdom July 22, 2006 - We really enjoyed our stay in Casa Assunta as it was quiet, peaceful and less touristy than the neighbouring Positano. We became accustomed to the many, many steps from the beach and managed to convince ourselves that they were actually doing us good and we needn't bother going to the gym for at least 3 months when we arrived back home. I really liked the local supermarkets which took us away from the hustle bustle way of life of the English supermarkets and it was nice shopping for food on a daily basis on the way back from the beach. The local people were really friendly without being gushing and I loved everything about it. I have holidayed with you twice now and have been more than impressed each time. I found your service to be reliable, efficient and most of all extremely pleasant. Tim Elley, Sydney, Australia April 15, 2006 - The accommodation was terrific, the location and views were great, and the town exactly what we were looking for; all the necessities like grocer, butcher, a few restaurants etc and not a bustling tourist area like Positano and Amalfi which are only short trips away if you wanted that environment. The locals are friendly and helpful and our stay was memorable. I would highly recommend Casa Assunta to anyone seeking a relaxing holiday. Everything in your description was accurate although the photos did no do justice to the magnificent view, although neither did our photos. Ilario Martinello, Unionville, Canada October 8, 2005 - Casa Assunta was an excellent choice for us (two couples). The only negative was the number of steps we had to climb daily to get back and forth. This was made up for by the views and the location in the lovely town of Praiano. We very much enjoyed our experience The property and value was as advertised. Your service is excellent. There are 21 reviews of Casa Assunta, on 5 pages. You are reading page 1.
