What guests of Casa Anna A say Lisa Phifer, Alexandria, VA, United States June 26, 2010 - My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Casa Anna A. The apartment is nice and the view from the terrace is amazing. The owner has a wonderful roof top garden and let us use some of her basil. The location also makes it easy to catch a bus to Positano and Amalfi. We highly recommend staying here! I will recommend this site to others visiting Italy. We had a great experience. I liked being able to make coffee and light dinner. The owners were very helpful and pleasant. Friends had stayed here previously and told us that the road was noisy, however, I pictured the road being in a little town, not the main road for the Amalfi coast, so there was more traffic and noise than expected. The advantage is that the unit is right on the main road so no endless steps to get to the apartment. The disadvantage is that buses roll by at all hours, and scooter noise is never-ending. My wife had a hard time getting a good night's sleep. Small TV, and there were no non-Italian stations available. For the price, the value is OK. We visited with a friend who was in Italy at the same time, and for about 100 Euros more, the difference was major. This is a clean, but very basic property. Casa Marina next door, with a large patio, is a much nicer property.
