What guests of Villa dei Pini A sayMargaret Kincade, Bracknell, United Kingdom July 31, 2002 - We stayed in Villa dei Pini A during July 2002 with two young children. We found the apartment to be clean and comfortable. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Santa Maria has a lovely sandy beach with a lifeguard on duty and a large car park which is a short drive from the Residence. The directions to get there are very straightforward and the Summer in Italy team were very helpful in making sure that our requirements were met. We would have no hesitation in booking in future through this website. Oh and one thing which was very nice about Santa Maria di Castellabate is that it is unspoilt by tourism - we came across very few other British tourists while we were there, so it was really getting away from it all! By contrast, we spent a few days in Positano where it seemed that the majority were English speaking! Casa Gina in Ascea was lovely and the owners treated us like family - we had our 9 mth old baby with us and found the villa very clean and tidy. Villa dei Pini was the second villa in the town of Santa Maria which was a wonderful town with a great beach area. The view from the villa was magic.
