What guests of Villa dei Pini A sayIan Hannah, Nottingham, United Kingdom June 11, 2005 - We had a really fantastic time at Villa del pini A. The pool is second to none and adjoing garden superb, as is the view from the balcony. I think you should mention in the description that the village centre is only a 10 minute walk away, and also the numerous, shops, cafes, bars etc found there. Santa Maria di Castellabate is a lovely village and is hardly mentioned in the description. You should also mention that there are a lot of steps down to the pool especially if older peolpe are considering using it. We will certainly be returning at some time in the future. The villa was quiet (only one or two other couples in the whole complex) and the town had a lovely feel to it - not at all touristy. We ran into a bit of trouble with our car and he went out of his way to see that we were taken care of. I hope to return to Italy again next year and will definitely book through Summer in Italy. Most of the facilities are simple but adequate - all one really needs in a holiday apartment but I could not call them exceptional. The pool is magnificent, as is the view. I wasn't expecting the constant noise of the road, but you do stop hearing the road noise after a while. There were a few problems with the plumbing and a fridge which didn't work properly because it was installed next to the oven, but the owners were very helpful and sorted these problems immediately. They were charming - we communicated in French. The kitchen was fine - the barbecue is a very welcome facility. The bedrooms were also fine but very hot at night. We were very happy with the service provided by Summer in Italy and had a marvellous holiday. Thank you for all your help.
