Why should you rent your villa in Italy with us?
If you have heard about us from friends or relatives, you already know
that we will deliver more than you expect. If you have never heard of
us before, here are 10 reasons why you should rent your villa with us (and
recommend us to friends and family when you are back!)
- Rent your villa from a company that inspects each and every
property. First and foremost, we visit each and every rental property
personally.
This a
cornerstone. Our descriptions are accurate, honest and detailed because a
member of our staff has visited the property in person.
Ever been on vacation to find that the advertised "short walk" was
actually a 2-mile walk, or that the "great view of the sea"
didn't apply
to your balcony but to someone else's? Well, that won't happen with
us. We have seen the place and will tell you just the plain truth.
- Read reviews from past guests.
A reputable
rental agency should have a policy about asking "how it went". Let's face
it, a representative can inspect an apartment as often as it takes, but inspecting
is a thing, staying there for a week or two is another. Displaying
feedback from past guests is a hallmark of dedication to professional
excellence and hard work.
No need to tell you, our reviews are authentic. When you look at our web
site you won't find reviews written by "Tony from New York" (sorry
Tony, nothing personal!), maybe even without a travel date to go with it.
If you have doubts about the reviews you are
being shown, you can ask us to put you in touch with the authors. We will
ask them if they agree to speak to you about their experience and try to
make direct contact. It might not always be possible to contact a
specific past guest after a few years, but we will try.
- Enjoy dealing with a local staff.
You are traveling to Italy, and that is where our staff was born and
raised. Being locals, we can help you with details about good
restaurants, public transportation timetables, events...
In the eventuality that a problem arises with your apartment, we have
contacts and resources to sort it out while you enjoy your vacation.
And
not only! Over the years, we have helped our guests calling taxies,
relaying messages from home, arranging last-minute boat trips, recovering
lost luggage, buying the right dishwasher detergent, operating a washing
machine, finding a babysitter, hiring a cook to light up a pizza oven,
getting back home from the restaurant after too much vino rosso
(good things they had their voucher with them and someone could call us...
be considerate!), coping with medical emergencies, finding their way when
they felt they were lost... imagine having a friend
who lives in the area and who is always happy to help you.
- A picture is worth a thousand word. Many pictures are worth
many thousand words. How much is a complete and honest description worth?
Our descriptions are as complete and accurate as it gets, also
including distances from point of interests, reviews and tips from past
guests when available, and the exact location of the house shown on
satellite maps, for you to see what the surrounding area is like.
During our inspections we take dozens of pictures of every room and
outdoor area. Our pictures are not "staged": we do not use special
lighting or put in equipment and decoration that is not part of what is
actually in the house.
We are often told that the villas we
represent are better in reality than on our web site. That's the way
it should be!
- Your credit card is welcome!
Enjoy the convenience of paying for your accommodations in advance, by
credit card if you wish - quick and easy. Everybody will tell you:
to travel with a lot of cash in your pocket is not safe, no matter where
you go. And there is no way that the sweet Italian old mama who runs your
perfect place will be able to swipe your card upon arrival.
We will handle your payments smoothly and professionally, and upon arrival
all you will need to bring is a smile, to receive a thousand back.
- We answer the phone. And work late.
Email is a great way to be in touch, but at times you might
want to speak to someone in person. All of our representatives speak
English (and Italian) and we answer the phone from 9.30 am to 1 pm and
from 3.30 pm to 10 pm (Central European Time, GMT +1). Besides
having numbers for our offices in Italy and Switzerland, we are also proud
to be able to provide toll-free numbers for callers located in the United
States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
- We are always there to help. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
When you are in Italy enjoying your vacation there is no siesta for us:
you will be provided with a dedicated priority phone number where an
English-speaking representative is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. No need to wait until Monday to get a hold of someone.
How's that for service?
- We work with property owners directly, no middlemen involved.
What does it mean for you? In a nutshell: better rates and
better service. Rental rates are not inflated by multiple
intermediaries adding their fees, and your desires do not go awry because
someone forgot to tell someone else.
- Your questions are really answered.
We are more than happy to answer any questions you might have about your
trip to Italy. If you tried other agencies and all you got for an
answer was a link to the booking form - well, that's not us.
After all, who are you supposed to ask if your rental has a kettle, if
beach towels are provided or, for that matter, what's the temperature of
the sea in June?
- Clear terms mean no surprises.
As a reputable rental agency we
have the rental terms permanently displayed on our web site. The
rental fees, cancellation policy, the payment schedule, what's included in
the fee,
what is not included and must be paid in cash locally are always clearly
indicated for each and every property.
We allow no hidden fees. All taxes are always included and there are
no booking fees to add to the bill.
